I'm installing Hotchkis leaf springs on my 67 Barracuda using all the supplied hardware. I expected the front hanger to be a snug fit with the eyelet on the spring, but there is a .1 gap on either side. I can easily take up the space with washers, but is that the best way forward? Maybe they supplied the wrong hanger?

Should be snug.

When you tighten the bolt will it bring the ends in?

Wow close does you factory hanger fit? Most people have found the dropped hanger makes the rear of the car sit too low and end up putting the factory one make on. That's what I did.

Make sure to check pinon angle after installing these. They make the front of the diff point more upward.

When I torque the bolt it's going to bend the bracket in. If I'm not mistaken, the FSM says 125lbs

The factory hanger fit snug, but it was rusty and went away with the rest of the 7 1/4 assembly. I probably should've muscled the thing off and restored it.

Add washers, bend it, or contact Hotchkis.

IHMO you'll need a factory hanger. Or your rear end will be looking like it's too low and the car will be looking sloped backward.

I'll probably just get a new hanger from Mancici. I'll give Hotchkis a call and see what's up with their bracket anyway though

When you get the Hotchkis one figured out. Install it and see if you like the ride height.
