Anyone running the hotchkis rear leaf springs?..What are the pros and cons?My duster is just a weekend cruiser

I have a new set that I'd like to install. Well made springs with very nice clamps. I know that's not much help to you, just wanted to comment on the quality. 65

I have a set on my ‘73 Swinger. I have zero complaints. They ride nicely and I do everything from back roads to interstate driving with the car. Good rate for cornering too. Just know that they lower the rear 1” and if you use the supplied hanger it lowers 1” more for 2” total.

I installed a Hotchkis 2"-3" drop (coils & leaf's) on my 2000 Dakota over 17 years ago. They have been great. Looks good, rides good & handles like a go-cart. A good set of shocks help too.

They really lower the rear if you use their drop hangers. My car is really low and I couldn’t use the hangers

I just installed them on my 70 Duster using DoctorDiff's 1/2 offset hangers which have 2 holes. Comparing them to the Hotchkis hangers which supposedly lower the car 1", I used the upper hole. I also put on the RCD Bilsteins. It went together nicely and the car rides great, but
the tires were definitely hitting the 1/4 lips which helped, but while more stable in the the corners, while driving aggressively it seems to bottom out on the bigger bumps and ruts. I'm thinking it may be too low.
