how big is a b body rear end?

my boss has a 8/75 that i can have for free just housing and axels i think. i havent seen it tho. we dont know what it came outta tho. maby a c-body but i am hopeing it could be b-body what are the measurements for all the mopars? i will relocate the springs so either way i will change the perches. but dont want to shorten it. will anything but an a-body or b-body fit under with stock backspacing wheels? i think mine have 5" backspacing and are around 7" wide. or is there anything shorter then an a-body rear lol. i might need something for a pacer lol
