I bought cheap Hong Kong LED's off ebay and they look fine in my 65 Dart. I can even dim them a bit. Haven't used the car enough to talk long-term reliability. I also used LED's in my 80's M-B, which lit that dash much better since that uses a "light tunnel" and the LED's were forward shining. Not all LED's of the same bulb# fit the space. Also, some can short-circuit the holder. That was a problem in the M-B quarter-turn holders, but shouldn't be in the similar-looking Dart holders. You might have to try a few to find one that fits and has the correct light pattern. The incandescent bulbs in my Valiant dash had melted the blue bubbles around them, so I wanted to avoid that.
