How Come?

I see a lot of posts on 8.75",8.25" and Dana 60 rearends. How come I don't see any posts about 9.25" rears? The reason I ask this is, I can get one for free that is out of an old D150 truck. It is limited slip and has 3.91 gears. I know I would have to have it narrowed, but there has to be some other reason nobody is talking about them. So what is it?

I didn't have any problem finding new 4.56 gears for my Trailduster. I think that the main issue is probably - If you are going to spend the money & time to narrow a rear end, go with a Dana 60.
