Now that I've got my hemi scoop bolted on, I want to install the reinforcement pins on the scoop to the hood.
Both the hood and scoop are fiberglass and I want to conceal the bolt heads so they are not visible from the outside top portion of the scoop.
I was thinking of possibly using a bonding agent to secure an aluminum base plate to the underside of the scoop and having bevel headed bolts pass through the plate and through the hood, then I would add stainless brake line on the outside of the bolts for sleeves.
Then bond the top plate to the scoop after I got everything lined up.
Would this work or are there way better proven ways to do this?
