I'm trying to replace my old Master cylinder with a wilwood unit. When I unbolted my old MC the entire pushrod and springs came out... what needs to come off this in order for my new MC to work? What part is the actual pushrods that I will be reusing? Is it the part after the spring assembly? If so how do I get the old part off? I have yanked and yanked but no budging.. I saw a screw on the end of the spring housing do I need to take that off 1st then pull?

just bolt it back on to the master and remove the pushrod then remove the master.

take rod off under dash on brake pedal...put rod in vise....hit the remander of master cylinder with BFH

you can do any noted above...and put rod in vise ...and hit old master cylinder with BFH

This is a timely tip. I am having the same problem. I guess I need a bigger hammer.
