Sorry for such a stupid question - but I was wondering if the is a method that I am just not seeing to search for parts?

Thanks in advance

Jason,
On the menu at the top, click on "Forums", go to one of the parts for sale threads and scroll through.
Or, on the menu at the top, click on "Search", in the keyword box type in whatever you are looking for. Below and to the right of that you will see "Search in all open forums" highlighted. You can do that (search in all forums, or you can click on one of the parts for sale forums. Then click "Search Now" at the bottom.

The following might prove helpful to you:
1. Stuff doesn't seem to stick around very long. If you send a PM or post to a for sale that's more than a couple weeks old, you are probably out of luck. You may not even get a reply to your message. Frustrating, but just move on.
2. Not everyone spells the same way you might. You might look for a steering wheel, you won't see the one listed as a "stearing wheel".
3. Not everyone calls the part the same thing you might. You might look for a "lower control arm", you won't see the LCA that is listed, or the torsion bar socket, or the (you get the message).

And, you can always post a "wanted" ad also.
Good luck, and welcome aboard:thumbup:

Or you could just start a post in Cars and Parts wanted section with the items you need. "Parts wanted" works pretty good here because we all have a stash of parts that may be for sale if someone needs them. toolmanmike
