How hard would it be to put a cd player in my dart?

I guess it would depend on where youu want to mount it.

Here's what I used in my 64 GT. You don't have to hack the dash to mount it, and you can fill the holes if you remove it. Mounted it under the original radio, but over far enough to not block the fuses.

I bought the underdash mount at Circuit City.Its a little cheaper
elsewhere tho.

If you are going to mount it where the original radio was then you have a bit of cutting to do. There are kits available that put the din type sleeve in the car so the CD will slip right in. The issue is what you want to do. Drop by a Circuit City or Best Buy or similar and look around at the kits and CD players there. They will have techs there that can tell you what is involved and also they will give you a labour rate for doing the job. Should not be that difficult for you to do, but then it depends on your abilities, tools etc. As such how long it would take varies too.

If you decide to have it done for you shop around and find the CD you want. Then price the same model with install at each place. Also ask to see other work they have done. That way you can see if the place is a real hack or quality looking place.

a friend used that under dash kit and hid it all under the bench seat. his cd player has a remote.
