Greetings Lords of A Bodies,

I'm still grumpy from turning 61 yesterday. WTF?
Just last week I was only 45. But I digress.......

Still looking for my A body and am looking
at 2 daily drivers later this week. My questions
regard a 318 auto transplant into a slant 6 auto car.

It's my understanding the OEM radiator will work fine
with this upgrade. Not so?
Will any changes to the front suspension/steering gear
be required?
Any other pain/money saving nuggets youse guys may
have I need to hear.

A 318 might have the lower hose on either side. Year models ?
 
I don't know. If it was a 360 transplant then that would
def require another radiator because the inlet/outlets
are opposite for a slant 6/273/318 motor.
 
Out-freaking-standing Frankie. Made me grin up some.
My first duty station was at NAS Glynco, Brunswick in
the great state of Georgia. Spent 2 years and many honeys
there before I was transferred to NAS Pensacola.
 
67-up V-8 and /6 have different K-frame and will require conversion mounts or K-frame change. 61-66 have the same K-frame
V-8 will have bigger T-bars.
V-8 would have a bigger radiator too.
Just some things to consider.

I feel ya brother on getting old. What do mean its 2014? I thought it was Tuesday.
