How much cranking before fuel is in the line?

Gas tank was empty, filled it up, now cranking.. how much cranking until fuel gets to the carb?

Not much, like count to 5 or 6 and by then you should have fuel.

unless the diaphram is cracked

I always put a little gas down the carb. first.
