Have an opportunity to buy a complete ac system of a 73 dart. How much would a complete system be worth? wanna make sur ei'm getti'n a deal.. AND IT CAME OFF TEH SLANT 6..WILL IT FIT MY 340???

I recently paid $100 for a complete, Mopar dealer installed under under dash AC for my '64 Barracuda. Just like the one I tossed 30 years ago! It's in pretty good shape, but I'll probably have the chrome front panel redone. It came off of a /6 car & mine is V8, so I'll need compressor brackets if I use the original compressor. I'll probably update to a late model compressor, as they're smaller & use less power to run. Hope this gives you an idea. I posted last March where there was a NOS Mopar dealer install unit on ebay, complete kit, minus the compressor, to add AC to a 70 to 73 A body. It started at $100 & went up to $460 but the reserve wasn't met. Maybe they still have it? Here's a link to that thread.
