How often to change plugs

I put an average of 3000 miles a year. Should they be changed every year even though they still look good? Or keep running them? I'm running Autolite AR3924.

I'd keep running them, thats not much mileage.

Depends on what kind of miles those are...

I'd say if they are Strip miles...probably wouldn't hurt to replace them.
If those are just cruisin around town and enjoyin your ride miles...keep runnin em.

Haven't changed ones in my dart since may 2002, almost 20k.

I change them when mileage falls off or misfires happen with frequency

wow! thats like 12000 1/4 mile passes in one year! :mrgreen:

check em at least once a year. change them when they get fouled or if the gap opened say more then .010". there cheap enough.

Unless the car runs pig rich there no reason to changer them that often.

I meant if they were combination driving plus strip, I would hope that 3000 miles wouldn't be strictly strip passes!!

yah..33 passes a day, everyday for a year seemed kinda excessive :toothy10:
