I am pulling the trigger on an E85 carb. The recommendation is 10AN fitting to the pump and 8AN from the pump to the carb. 10AN is 5/8ths. That is freaking huge! I want to use my original tank and sender. Any ideas on how to sump or add a larger tube to the tank?

What material did you fab that sump from OMM and what did youi do afterwards cause the tank is zinc plated isn't it? Spray galvanizing or what? I am going to have to do that with the fish. Nice thing about a sump is if you do it right you can incorporate some kind of water drain from the low point.

E85 uses a bunch more fuel than regular gasoline. That's why the hose sizing requirement is bigger.

Basically getting a large supply to the fuel pump and then a 1/2" line forward. So it's not that far out of whack.
