How to check a wiper motor in the car 73 Duster

I have a two speed wiper motor in my 73 Duster. This has a foot pump washer. How can I check to see if the motor is OK? Can I use jumper wires from the battery? Which contacts do I use?

Yes you can jump it from the battery. One terminal is low , one is high and the 3rd might be for the park.
