Back in the early eighties in Australia I went to a spare parts store and asked for an inlet gasket set for a 1980 ford falcon with 351 clevo. He brings me out a 4v gasket set. I say no I need a 2Vgasket set. He askes does it have a 4 barrel or 2 barrel carb? I say it does not mater all late model clevelands use the 2V ports. He says no you are wrong and you will bring it back. In about 1977 Australia cast it own cleveland blocks and cyl heads and used there own casting that has open chamber and Australian only port set up and were 4 barrel only in 351 or 302 form (and were smog dogs). could I tell this young fella behind the counter. Thet are extremely ignorant and happy to be so!
