I am posting this for my dad, fabo member FISHYPETE since all the pics I took were on my camera....he has a large collection of plastic model kits, all are un-built and most are pretty old, 60-80's mostly, a few from the early 90's as well. There are cars, trucks, hot rods, semi rigs and trailers, fire trucks, farm tractors, air planes, jets, helicopters, boats and ocean liner.....just too dang much to list. Eventually some will be offered up for sale, just don't know how I'm gonna go about selling them yet, probably one-by-one. I need to do some more research about the age and rarity of these, most if not all are original release kits too and boxes are in good shape as well. All the parts inside the kits are on the parts trees and all are factory sealed in there original plastic wrappers, only the plastic box shrink wrap has been removed, no parts missing, all decals and instruction sheets there too. :glasses7:

Here are some pics so enjoy :happy1:

I like the international transtar II tractor and the flat bed or the low boy. I put many a mile in one back in the day. Any F model Mack cab over?

Yup, that's a cool one, those old rigs are sweet....no Mack truck kits.

He gave me this matching tractor and trailer, very cool Coors set :glasses7:

I have never built a semi before, think it would be cool but don't think I can bring myself to build this vintage pair.

I have a friend who has a collection of the same caliber, he may have one. I have a German Tiger tank that he wants me to trade.

Wow,
Super collection! Brings back memories. Growing up in NY, I remember after returning from Nam my older brother moved to So.Cal and got a job at Revell he used to send me all kinds of model kits, stock cars and trains. Unfortunately we had a bad fire in that home and lost all the models. Be sure and let us know when the MOPARS come out of the closet. Oddly enough and hell I was only about 10 then but already had a 69 Cuda model and a Hot Wheels car called King Cuda. Would love to have em again.

I see a couple i'd be interested in if they come up for sale, drop me a line if they do.

Interesting stuff ... I was a model builder when I was a young'in ... but I didn't even know that they made models of half the stuff you have there!

I keep coming back to this thread to gaze at all those awesome models. Very neat collection. I had a similar collection (not quite that big though), but when we moved from Minnesota, my mom made me give them all to the neighbor. :violent1: Of all of them, I especially miss all the tractor/trailer kits. Great collection!
