Check out the area I circled and the text I wrote. If that's a buggered up area I'd make them send me a new one cause that could tear up the seal.
Hughes 27-30 and B&M 10239 will not line up.

I just went out and checked. Grease spot. Finally an easy fix....lol

Good deal. I figured it might have been grease, but you just never know.
Please update this thread and let us know how that Hughes convertor works out for you? I am looking at their 24-30 to put behind my 408. They appear to be a quality piece at a reasonable price.

I will keep you updated. I am waiting for the headers to be finished. I am having the crankcase evacuation tubes welded into them. Once they are finished I hope to get everything installed this week and be running the 3 day test & tune at Famoso this weekend.
