They are just pipe nipples. Take it to a hardware store find the right size, I prefer Brass, Get it long enough so it won't have any threads on the outside when you cut it to length.

Hmmm, that would work also, my fitting was made of brass but the steel pie fittings would work and just cut to length..once the bypass hoes is on, nobody will notice the difference.
