I have a set of Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Lifters from comp cams 8921-16 but 1 out of a pair just collapsed. Not very happy about it as I felt like it has always been noisy and out of warranty. I have adjusted them multiple times following their instructions but the noise was always there and now with this fully collapsed lifter and only having them for 1000 miles I'm looking for a change.

I am running Trick Flow Port 240cc heads and 23-713-9 cam and have been looking at the Howards MAX EFFORT 91774 at Hughes

Any of you guys have any recommendations for hydraulic roller lifters? Car is street/strip trying to get to the low 12's or high 11's.

Thanks

Talk to the folks at Gaterman and see what they say. They build nice hyd roller lifters but I'm not sure how their pricing is for retail folks.

You might be able to send your Comp lifters back for rebuild. I know they rebuild solid roller lifters.

I'm running the Cranes, they were a bit spendy though. They get great reviews. I bought them from summit. Jones who made my cam recommended his HR lifter# XLR-8H06 at $489.95. I may have bought those if I had not already bought the Cranes.

The trick flow ones are howards with a sticker on them if that helps narrow things down
