I have been totally unable to find a p/n 2258 495 park lever knob for the Torqueflite shift mechanism. It was used on the Valiant and Lancer in 1962 only, and I'm attaching a picture. Assuming that nobody has one they want to sell, would any of you guys know if maybe I could use a different knob instead? Thanks very much.

Make a mold of a borrowed one and cast a few new ones! Alumilite Corporation

I did this for a broken plastic gear and used their high strength plastic to cast a new one. I used the super glued broken one to make the mold. It was just as strong if not stronger than the original gear, because I added glass fibers to the mix.
