I can't tell you all how many times I've dreamt of this moment. 11 years ago I was successfully able to buy back the 1969 Plymouth Barracuda previously owned by my great grandmother, grandfather, and dad.

It had been lost since 1989.

Since recovering the car back in 2014, I have gone through every aspect of the fish and turned it into the baddest hotrod possible - only took 11 years . While I've been recording every step of the way and posting the progress on YouTube, it was always done with anticipation of this video. The Grand Reveal. I hope you all enjoy the video as much as I did filming it. Its a memory I'll keep for the rest of my life.

That's really cool. Man I love it! You are a lucky man to have your Dad and Grandpa still around too. Hope your little one takes car of the "Fish" like you did. Good work my man. I salute you!

GREAT video! Not only great building skills but you also have a talent for video's and story telling. Awesome seeing all the generations of smiles that everyone in the video couldn't hold back
Well done!
Thanks for your service also.
Oh tell dad I love his 67. Great looking pair of nachos!

Thanks, guys! I really appriciate it. Now I've just got to take it to the track and collect a few Ws . Hoping to hit 10.99 in the 1/4 this upcoming year

Congratulations, great story and car!

@slimjim, I was wondering if you could share link to your YouTube channel dedicated to this beautiful fish?

p.s, I have not watched the reveal video, since I am hoping to watch the journey videos first.

Absolutely. Ive got a couple builds on the channel, but here is the link to the Playlist dedicated to this car. I have a couple of older videos of it posted when I was planning to install a V10 however, Episode 1 kicked off this summer when I bit the bullet and went with the big block to get this bad boy finished.

Cool car, cool story. Great job. I really like the fact that it's not repainted. My choice would be to not paint it. It's way cooler being original. At least I think it's original paint ? Also I like the fact that your father, mother and grandfather are into as well. Again great job, story and video. Best of luck with it.

Awesome man, totally awesome. That's the kinda stuff that this hobby is about. Seeing the expressions on your family's faces taking them out in their old car is just priceless.

I will always remember the time I took my dad out in my Duster. I wish I had video of it, but seeing his face as I throttled out on the highway in a car I built myself is something I'll always cherish. I wish I'd had the opportunity to take him out in his own car, a '53 Austin Healey 100 he bought when he was 15, but bringing that one back to life didn't really become an option until I inherited it from him when he passed.

Really cool! I just finished up my dad’s old dart after a similar timeline build lol. Did you get the power steering fixed? Have you checked to make sure you don’t have the lines backwards?

i see a tin grill on the wall. what truck do ya have?
Big tin grill fan. I built a 77 Ramcharger with a 400 based 426 stroker, 203/205 doubler, with 3/4 ton axles. Got the whole build on YT as well. Swapping the camshaft and lifters here soon as my purple shagt failed after just 500 miles.

I really like the original patina as well. In fact, I just buffed the car and it really pops now.

I wish it were just the lines. I still have the belt off for now. Gona take it off and return it to summit
