I have these now what do I do?

I bought this 1971 dodge p/u D100. Now I bought this reman LA 360 with heads that end with 308. I need info on what to build I have $1,000 cash. The truck as a rebuilt and running 318. I think I can use parts off of the 318.

welcome to the site this place rocks. nice truck.reman with a weiand, now that is a shop. hows the suspension bushings? tie rod ends? king pins? the reason i ask is, that in my mind, since it appears that the truck has been sitting,for some time, the motor(which i will assume runs now) will be more than the tire is gonna let you use, and your thousand may be better spent there and on brakes and such. by the way did i say, welcome to the site?

Depends on what you want out of it.

I'd find out the compresion ratio and grab a cam, carb, exhaust, iginition, B&M flex plate for the internal/external balance issue between the 318 and 360, then call it a day.
