I invented a new mouse trap

-
i read somewhere GI's in the Pacific Islands during WW II used 55 gallon drums set in the ground filled partway with water and would trap rats/mice by the thousands!

My buddy uses the bucket with a beer can over it. Peanut butter on the can and water in the bucket. His cats enjoy bobbing for mice.

Reminds me of the time I was junk yarding and found a decent plastic radiator overflow tank in a Dart.
Took it out. Turned it upside down to shake the black water out of it.
Nothing happened. Shook it harder, nothing.
Shook it hard and out falls a big rotten rodent of unknown type.
I started gagging at the stink.

Kuda, we used to fill a bucket about 1/2 way with water and then cover the water with rice hull.
The hull floats on top of the water, a board allows them to get up there and they can smell the hulls.
They have no problem jumping right in there and drowning.

The jar is a cool find, but the jar was best suited for burying in the ground next to a red ant hill.
(just in case you had a need for a large collection of red ants for any reason)

HEY, it happens. :)
