My brother saw this advertised and I am going to look at it today. I have had 2 of these 71 Roadrunners in the past but with 340 4 speed pistol grips, same color. One of them I took my girlfreind, now my wife, to prom 40 years ago in.

1971 Roadrunner, 383, auto on the column, all original down to the pie pan and spare tire, #'s matching, 77,*** miles.

On a guess, i would say 15 to 25 grand if it is as good as he says it is.
Without looking at it in person, it would be hard to tell the actual condition.

Looks nice! If its something you really want, and not worried about the resale (sounds like its sentimental to ya) and your planning on keeping it, then you will be able to pay the high side of the market if necessary. It's your money, your desire, and only you can say what it's worth to you. The only way you can really pay too much is if you think you might sell it one day, or if your budget is limited. Other than that, its paper for a car! :)

Somebody on here just sold his not so long ago I'm sure he will chime in and give you a good idea.
