I like old Rubbers......

-
There is a local west michigan guy who brings a survivor Hemi Daytona to the Verhage car show every year. The car has a set of those strange looking spoked wheels like you have on the left in front of your Mastercraft sign. He also had Some very low profile white wall/red line "dont remember" bias tires mounted.I have never seen anything like them before, and am surprised they would even have somthing that high tech back in the day. This year the Daytona had some other wheels/tires as im sure the risk with those is pretty high with an origional Daytona

Still got the N50 X 15 Kelly super chargers I pulled off my dart they have around 70% tread left and I bought them new around 1984.

Replaced them with a pair of M/T tires when they ran off some N50 X 15's around 4 years ago.

Man what a difference in traction the newer tires have

LOL so do i , N50-15 kelly supercharger meats, i got them from some really old guy off CL for 50 bucks.. they are like new ! here they are on a set of old 1982 centerlines

Set of 4 NOS Goodyear polyglas white streak E70-14. I believe these aren't even reproduced, only Firestone wide ovals are! These are optional for '68-'69 A-bodies.

Scored another Good Year Blue Streak tire that came on 65-67 Barracuda Formula S cars, also Dart Gt cars I believe too....I have scored 2 now, and they are the only 2 I have ever come across for sale so they are hard to find....got it for $9.99 :D :D :D

Sidewall is not the best, a few spots lifting but the tread is great and will make a nice wall hanger in my dads shop mounted on a rim and wheel cover installed :glasses7:

I need a pair of 14'' 6'' cheater/street slick , you have some great rubbers there Keith..

I still have my McCreary J60-14's on my original Cragar S/S 14X8 SBP from back in 1979. That combo just fit up under the rear fenders like a glove.

Got some more "old rubbers" from a FABO member here last Saturday :glasses7:
