i need help with my 6 pack

i need some measurements of the 6 pack air cleaner. specifically from the front carb stud to the front and sides of the air cleaner and the same on the back carb. i need to cut my hood but dont have the air cleaner yet. does this make sense??? thanks :thumleft:

Betty, here are the measurement that I took of my air cleaner. Now I took the measurement from the center of the carb mouth or opening. The front is 6" from the center to the front, and 10" from the center to the side. The rear is 5 and 1/2" from center of rear carb to the end, and 9 and 1/2" from center rear to side. Don't forget that the air cleaner is oval in shape and not square. Hope that help.

so would you say its roughly 20" wide and 22" front to back? you just made my list of favorite people :cheers: :cheers: ive been trying to find this info fo a while now and havent gotten any replys. thanks a bunch

Betty, the bottom part of the air cleaner is 20" wide, and 21 and 1/4" long. Now the top of the air cleaner is 16 and 1/8" wide, and 20 and 1/4" long.
