I painted the rusty valve covers hemi orange to match the engine.

Should I put some kind of clear coat on it, or what do you all recommend? I used self etching primer, sandable primer, a little filler primer, sanded it smooth, then painted it with engine paint.

For a little contrast, I would paint the breather black and the Moroso lettering black also.

I was going to mention doing the letters in black. Would look pretty sweet.

Maybe run over the tops of letters with a solvent rag so they’d be chrome. Never seen that before.

That’s a good idea, but I already sanded the chrome off.

I was going to buy me a new set but,think I'll try painting mine first mine are blue ,think I'll try the flat Orange and leave the letters blue
