    Around here the mail jeeps go straight to the crusher. I stood and watched the smash 25 of them one day. They have a postal service guy standing there to make sure no parts were sold.

    The PT already had the SRT4 powerplant in it from the factory. its called the PT GT. Build that motor to about 500 horses. Add all the gasser stuff. VOILA.

    There's a guy in town here who put a 440 and 727 from a '73 Jensen Interceptor III into his PT Cruiser.

    I had a PT GT and it ran very well but it might be tuff to make FWD work with the straight axle.

    You mean like this car? Sounds like you have the fabrication skills to be able to it. I say go for it. I like "out-of-the-box" cars.

    I actually saw one with a Viper V10 in it, I thought this guy has got to have some nuts to drive that thing. Short wheel base and a crapload of HP and torque, it would have to feel like a fuel altered.
