Phyllis and I went to visit Marvin and his family today. Wendy and the kids were great. Very nice people. We went up to Fredericton in the Demon even though it only gets about 9 miles to the gallon. LOL I thought it would help cheer Marvin up. We had lunch, (good lasagna made by Marvin), and generally talked about how he is doing. Much better than the last time I saw him but still a long way to go. Last time he was still in a wheelchair and this time he has a cane. I was able to present Marvin with about $1300 that we have raised from the first 2 auctions and donations. I know it is greatly appreciated. There are still more auction items to receive payment from so the total will go higher. After eating we went out to Marvins garage and I had a good look at his 70 Dart. There is still a lot of work to be done to it, but that is in the future. We stood outside and took some pictures and talked some more and then it was time to leave. I did a very weak burnout, (I promise to do better next time Marvin), and Phyllis and I were on our way.

I would say it was a very nice but to short of a visit, but we had to go to our sons as well today.

Marvin, great seeing you again! And very nice meeting you Wendy! You two have a nice family.

Here are a few pics. Phyllis and I are in the Demon T's. The rest are Marvin and Wendy.

Thank goodness Marvin is doing better. Things are tough on my end, It's a long damn story and no one wants to hear my life bs (not even me, lol!).
but I'll see if I can scrape up some change out of the '72 Duster and Ramcharger, check all the coat pockets, etc.
Hopefully the $1300 helped. let me see what I can do.

Glad to hear he is at home Jack.=D>=D>
You and Small Block and brother Ken are going that extra mile to help the good folks here at FABO!!
