I had one of those in the early 90's.
Nearly identical (different wheels).
SUPER fun, but it broke a lot.
I remember reading road tests on these in the 70s. They used a MItsubishi NON turbo straight six diesel that made some pathetic power number barely over 100 HP.

Always liked this generation. Had a 98 4x4 that the Wisconsin winters ate up
. A 4" crank would really make that R/T a fun ride.

It should have the BBP front disc brakes, a BBP rear end (hopefully an 8 1/4), 5 BBP 14'' rallye wheels, '71 center caps on 4 of them, and various repairable/useable body parts including the grille, glass, and bumpers.
$1500 is not out of the question for this car.
From the rust it has, I would seriously doubt that the frames and under structure is any good from a rust point of view, which makes it a parts car to me and a very decent one.
Remember, $2,500 is just the asking price.
I wouldn't doubt if you offered the guy a grand cash, you would own it...

absolutely killer. ticks all the boxes and the price is good.
anybody looking for or to get into a V8 A body car should heavily consider it (*cough* you know who *cough*)
