I really enjoyed the original episode where Freiburger and Finnegan got that thing running, and then took it to the track....while running at a pretty severe angle! Makes me chuckle just to think of it.![]()

I always enjoyed their "What the hell!" attitude, and they made a great team, I think.

I agree. It especially irks my "frugal" gene.I hate all the burnout **** though... i don't get why people get excited bout it
I always enjoyed the show, too. But some of it was down right dangerous. How many times have you been on a road with no shoulder in whatever car, and hoped it didn't stop running? And pulling over on a shoulder is far from safe, also. It's one of the most dangerous places you can be. And if you do break down, you are jeopardizing the safety of any(every)one who stops to help. I pull off the road completely when checking trailer tie downs, or like when my F150 used to shut off inexplicably. (Luckily, when there was a place to pull over!) One time, I was pulled over for going a "bit" too fast. I pulled into a parking lot. The trooper said he appreciated it, and let me slide.Well.. it's also a lot easier when you have unlimited money, free parts and 2 support cars behind you![]()
