ID Help Please

I have spent the better part of the last week inventorying the parts that came with my Dart. These are mostly parts that I didn't remove and most were not identified. I came across this part and have no idea what it is. This is the only part that I could not identify. It is not for the outside rearview mirror, beyond that, I have no clue what it could be. Thanks.

That looks similar to the backing plate for a side reflector. I have a 69 Fastback, and while not exact, it does look close.

I'm not sure what year your car is, but it might be something like that.

In my haste to post this, I neglected to mention that the project is a 71 Dart. My side marker lights are recessed and shaped differently than this gasket. It did have 72 fenders on it though, so it might be a carryover from there.
