ignition problem?

ok, o i was driving the other day, and i turned my blower fan on, i dont remember where i am getting the power from because i had to wire it myself and i did it a while ago, but 5 min after i turned it on, the engine died on me, i got it going again after a few minutes and i turned the fan on again, and 5 min later it dies again, then i didnt turn it on again and i made it the 10 min back to my house. I think I wired it from the ballast, so could it be taking charge from my MSD ignition box?

I doubt that the blower and engine would run if both were hooked to the ballast. But Jeez, quick way to find out is

turn on the key

turn on the blower

Yank one or both wires off the ballast and see if the blower quits!!!

ok, it wasnt hooked up to the ballast resister... could it be another problem or could the fan be taking that much power or something.

Volts from alternator are??? Battery been load tested?

i havent driven it yet, ill get it tested tomorrow probably, been a little out of it so havent really thought about that, thanks.
