ignition removal

I have a 1973 swinger 3 on the column, could some one tell me how to remove the ignition switch?

Why do you want to remove it? Is it not working or just plain worn out?

I'd like to help you but my cars are older and have the ignition switch on the dash. I have never done one on the tree.
