I have a bad ignition switch on my 69 Barracuda. Most of my gauges were not working intermittently and I traced it to the ignition switch itself. I pulled it out, put it on the bench and did a continuity check from Battery to ign1 and ign2 etc. Sometimes it would work, most times not so I pulled out the key guts and drenched the switch in WD40. It got a little better but still not right. So I need a source for a good replacement switch... one that fits correctly with no surprises. Thanks in advance.

If 67 and 69 are the same... there are 2 blue wires crimped into 1 terminal at the switch harness connector. One of those blue wires goes to inst' panel. The other goes to voltage regulator, etc.., under the hood. If the gauges didn't work due to the switch The charging system shouldn't work either.
All this to insure you have it properly diagnosed.
