Im looking for a part number or a link too the part for an ignition switch, my problem is, i find everywhere a 6 pin ignition switch, when i need a 5 pin ignition switch. Heres a pic of the original that worked!

I'm pretty sure the 6 pin switch would work with 1 pin unused. It will have a extra black wire on it.

yep, Ran into this a long time ago. They'll have a black wire poked in the connector where your cars harness connector likely has a orange wire that feeds lighting.
The simplest way to sort it is use a common male/female spade connection on that orange wire and leave their added black wire to dead end in the switch connector.

On my Challenger I just pulled the extra black wire out of the connector and taped it up and out of the way.

The one in the Advance Auto link is a screw on style. The directions say it fits E-body and A-body. The directions also say that some A-bodies used the extra black ground wire...some did not.
