A friend stopped by the shop today
Hasn't seen the Swinger since i picked it up last January > no eng/trans

with all the extra frame support added
tunnel mods> raised the floor, for the trans shield and 518 clearance
tubbed

I thought it was funny that he thought i was building a tank....lol

want the drive line strong, and to hold its own >. Street/strip

540ci
jw bell housing in front of a 518
Dana 60> 3.55 gears
1410 series driveshaft
Caltrac
Weld wheels

still have to finish the fuel system
build a BB k-frame (spool type)
and install the tubular upper a arms

the hole in the floor on the right
is to be patched. (was rust/pin holes)
not for the fuel pump

Could be wrong, LOL, but you might have fun getting the spare out with the cell in there

it's not a problem
the fuel cell is set all the way back

Plus, I made sure the wheel could be taken out
before bolting the cell in place
that's why it's narrow, but the same diameter as the others
have 3" of clearance to remove it

Hope I never need to use it
but it's there if I do

Car wasn't as clean as i thought>> LOL

because, when we went looking, we were looking for a roof for the 72

ended up needing spare tire well replacement
and both front floor sections
both Quarter panel repairs
Start life as a Slant

So, then decided if we got to replace the floor
might as well,
make room for an OD trans and tub it.
making enough room for 325/50-15 later

got the minimal parts in the front, to make it a roller
will change and detail the parts, when i put the proper K frame in it

right now
need the shop space for the dodge caliber >maintenance.
shop can only fit one car at a time

let it get some fresh air
