I'm Titan, Show Me Your Dogs

Hi, I'm Titan. A couple of FABO members suggested a thread be started about other member's canines. So here goes. My dad said I could do this as long as I kept my nails trimmed.
I am American Pit Bull Terrier, yea, one of "those", more on that later .I am a " blue fawn bully". I was born in May of 2001 to I think, loving parents whom I don't remember. I was bred by some of those @(^^$^&& irresponsible people so my mother might have been my sister or...you know. Because of that I have a heart murmer, arthritis, and am now 80% blind due to retinal degeneration. Hey, I get around.
My human mom's ( hereinafter referred to as "MOM" ) middle son bought me for breeding purposes. I really hated that. The bitches only wanted me for my body. I was "farmed" out for keeping the first 3 years of my life. At one place I was kept in a small fenced in area and my "care provider" would poke me with a broomstick thru the fence. I didn't like broomsticks for a long time.
I lived here and there for the first 3+ years and then came here to my forever home. I was outside for awhile when mom's son lived here but when he moved out due to those family squabble things I came inside. YEA !
My dad had to have a couple of discussions with me about who would be the alpha male but I learn quick.
I know some of my distant ( VERY distant ) relatives have gotten a bad rep' but hey, I'm a lover not a fighter. Just don't threaten mom or dad. I protect my territory mostly cause I can't see too good and sound bad *** mean until the door is opened. After that, well really, humans were put on this Earth to pet me. As for the breeding; well, I haven't seen any of my offspring but have heard they turned out well. I can't have kids anymore because of an infection but when I see a hottie I think," What am I supposed to think". It's confusing.

My name is Choppers, I too am of the not so well represented breed.
I love to hang out in the shop where the human alpha male spends most of his time. When he's out of town I spend my days in luxury at the females house putting up with her stupid pooky-wooky talk and being told not to lick the parts that I most enjoy. I scare the hell out of the neighbors on the other side of the fence just with my voice, neighbors are stupid.
My favorite past times are riding in the back of the truck,eating,sleeping and killing those little fury things that say meow,they too are stupid, I've got about 18 confirmed kills as far as the humans know, could be a few more that they have never found, I'll never tell.
My best buddy is a BullMastiff,Dozer, that comes out to the shop with one of the humans packmembers, we spend alot of time sniffing each other and telling lies about our romantic conquests.Much like the humans do except they drink out of cans and they too get stupid.

Hi Titan & Choppers!

My names Merlin and I feel your pain Titan. I was tied up so tight with a nylon rope that I finally chewed the rope off and ran away. I wasn't fed very well either. After I ran, my neck still hurt really bad. After the city caught me scrounging in dumpsters, they found that the rope had to be surgically removed from my neck. I was beat too and sometimes shy away when people try to pet me. My new master is pretty cool too even after I ate part of his couch. Instead of beating me, he just put me outside for an hour until he cooled off. I love him for that. :-D

Lately, he's been home all day which I really like. He doesn't seem to like it that much though, WOL (Woofing Out Loud). Anyway, I get good food, training and medical care and am learning how to come out of my shell and after I get to know you for a few minutes, I'll even let you pet me. :-D

Hi everybody you all probably know me, my name is Lilly. I just had back surgery last Saturday and today was the first day I could stand on my own. I can only stand for a few seconds before I fall down but I will get stronger and be up and running in no time. My daddy likes to spend time with me helping me to regain my mobility and stretching my legs. I want to say thank you to everybody for the prayers and for thinking about me in my time of need. It was really hard on my Daddy since he thought he was gonna loose me but as long as I have a choice I will never leave him.

Hi Titan, Choppers and Merlin - My name is Pepper and am 7 years old and I'm the good looking one on the left. My Mom and Dad call me "The Old Man" because I'm getting pretty gray around the mouth. I have a family - the black/gray and tan one is Daisy - the mother of my own 3 kids and they all look like me. One of them - Cammie - the long one next to me - never left home. The one on the far right - Cinamon - left home for 3 years but ended up back living with us. I think it was because her new Mother couldn't take care of her anymore. You guys probably think it would great to be surrounded by gorgeous females, but for some reason they don't want anything to do with me. We can all agree on getting treats, eating, running out in the yard and going for a ride in the van with our Mom and Dad. We can yell at all the other dogs walking their humans. I think we have a pretty good life.

Hi, My name is Gracy and I think that there are some quite beautiful pups here on FABO. I'm just a little mixed breed, but I still feel special. :-D I lost my BFF in June and I miss him so much, (he taught me everything I know), but my Mom & Dad are keeping me quite busy with walks to keep my mind off of him. But I do still think of him daily.........They're talking about getting me another friend. I wish they would hurry up and :nike:

me.Carpet?Guess they should have bought something a little more durable.Over all,im a lab,what do you expect.Ya,im going on 3 yrs,you thought i would calm down after 2.Think again,and you think this baby crawling all over me like a jungle jim is going to slow me down?Think again!Im hell on wheels and here for the long haul!

Hi, I'm Roxie, I'll admit I'm self-centered but I don't know how to be any other way. I like to have my way about everything, where I walk, which dogs are my friends (I mostly like big boy dogs,) what kind of food I want. I'm really frisky at times and I can run like a Greyhound. Eating is my favorite thing, I just inhale treats without even tasting them. I think I'm about 8 years old, I went to Dachshund Rescue when I was little 'cause the people who I was with got divorced. Life is good now, the only thing that really upsets me is thunder and rain, that's when I like to have my belly rubbed.

Dusted 72,we had a dachshund when i was living at home in my younger years,molly,looked identical to Lilly,right down to the "grey beard",sure do miss her.Great dog.Man,everybodys sure got some great looking dogs here!We tried to rescue one from the animal league,but with a new born on the way,we couldnt take a chance on a unstable dog.They make the best pets though,second chance,there all in!Thanks to all who do help them,we know the alternative,and most do not deserve that,poor judgement on the previous
owners part,and if i could just have a few moments of there time.....never mind,we wont go there!

Wow f, This is so milkbone ! Thank you all for joining me while our peeps are doing that late night stuff. You know....glasses with cubie treats but they add that other smelley stuff from bottles and cans and...and...they don't share ! Oh well, what do they know ? Obviously not much cause they don't realize it's dark and time for bed. I'm outta here as below, my peeps are staying up for more of that stuff they don't share.
Keep your cards and letters coming while the humans are under the hood and getting grease under their nails ( not to bother us ). I really want to meet more of you dogs.

I think sometimes people are just mean and/or ignorant. They don't know that we respond better to a scolding look than a kick in the ribs when we do something wrong. People don't need to beat us to make protective either. We're pretty much hardwired to protect the pack leader. :-D

I've been getting pretty old, hard to get up, my teeth were beginning to bug me.I was having nose bleeds and overall not feeling good. In the words of Choppers "Getting old is stupid".
Two weeks ago the human took me to the smelly place where they stick you with sharp things then give you a crunchy.This time though I did not get a crunchy, I just felt real sleepy.
I do feel much better now, almost like I am a puppy again.
I just wish Choppers would quit sending those "stupid" cats to visit me.

Hi, my name is Cody, i am on the right. My roommate Holly is on the left.

My mommy and daddy take us out on this thing that rides on this wet stuff sometimes and took a neat picture of us. They make us wear these things that make us hot, but makes us float cause we dont swim that great.

We are both 8 yrs old, i was born on Sept 11, my daddy calls me the little terrorist sometimes, I dont know if i like that name, my room mate was born on Dec 24th, there is always something exciting happening around her birthday.

We are Fox Terriers, we like going for rides and playing out in the yard with our squeeky toys, and chasing the red light in the yard at night.

My favorite toy is a fuzzy ball on a rope, i have had it for a while and its getting worn, and my daddy has been looking for a new one but cant find one. Maybe you other doggies know where he can find one.

Here is my all time fave toy. It's a slingshot and makes the coolest sound when they "shoot" it to me.....My Mom found a bunch of these for me @ Walgreens. She has passed them out to many of my friends too. :cheers:
