Good Morning FABO,
Does anyone have any knowledge or insight on this guy/business? I placed an order back on 7 February for the 15-357 Shifter Conversion Kit, which supposedly is designed to allow me to use a 1965 floor shifter with my 1971 727 transmission. After the 6week shipping period had expired, I made a phone call for a status and the guy said he would be shipping parts out the following Monday. Two more weeks go by and I place another phone call and the guy stated he just had knee surgery and would only be working in his shop only on Sundays, so it would likely be another week. Now that it’s been over 3mos since I placed and paid for my order I am no longer able to get in contact with this guy. Calls go straight to a voicemail stating no one is available. I’ve sent an email asking if it was even likely that he could complete my order, and if not to please issue a refund, which has gone unanswered as well.

I am about to dispute through PayPal and am not sure how successful I will be. But if I can save another member the trouble of dealing with this company then I will take that.

i thought they went out of business years ago.. people constantly complained about them on the various mopar sites. they had shifters for well over a year sometimes and the customer had to constantly call them in order to get their parts.

It took 6 years to get my 15-357 conversion kit.
I called every few months, then twice a year then finally it was shipped to me.
Why ? just for the "You know what I gonna wait to see if I ever get it."
Project was long done and gone by then.
They once were great to deal with 25+ years ago. Then **** went down hill..

This companies' reputation is notorious for ridiculous lead times or just not shipping after being paid. There are bad reviews all over the internet, on here B Bodies etc. Thanks for posting...you may help another member. I did hear they have a good post office there in New Market Al...so that rules them out. LOL

I purchased the same shifter conversion kit from him years ago... like 15 years ago. I had not problems. Communication was good, but I've constantly see upset customers. The guy has a good idea going. Too bad he sucks. If I remember correctly, the parts were a simple design that worked well. Should be easy for another business to pick up that part of the market.

Just stay on his *** until you get your stuff. You'll be happy once it's in your hands.

I read on here several times he was the "go-to" for throttle cables. So much for those reviews lol.
Thanks for the heads up!
Maybe email the dbag a link to this thread.

This is a real shame. They offered a lot of things other places did not. Maybe there's someone out there stepping up to offer what they did, but reliably.

Yeah, throttle cables, pushbutton shift cables. All that stuff. Now this. I mean seriously, any idiot can ruin a business. Don't be an idiot.

If I remember right, the original founder of Imperial Services made good stuff and was a reliable vendor. Then he sold the business - quite some time ago now. I've heard nothing but complaints about the new owner.
