Importing car from Canada

Just wondering if anyone has purchased a car from Canada and brought it back to the US, I have found a really nice Dart and with the exchange rate it is a awesome deal. Just wondering what kind of a hassle it is to bring it back to the US. Would it be better to have them drive the car here then do the transaction ? Thanks for any replies.

Ive done the opposite and brought cars from US to Canada and it was very easy. I was organized and had proper paperwork/documentation.
Check CBP website. As well the Canadian equivalent is CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency)

It isnt hard....like I said minimal paperwork and its good.

One of the issues you will have to address in certain states is that they will NOT recognize a Canadian title and you will have to jump through a bunch of hoops to title the car. Depends on the state. Good luck.
