indy 360-3r intake manifold plenum

intake is to tall and the carb aint gonna
fit under the hood so...

need to milled my new intake I know indy say it can be milled
but never did that and really dont wanna scrap this intake

did you ever do that ? what was the end result ? pics ?

the shop who do all the porting on my heads told me it can be done
with other mod to the intake

What part are they going to mill? Just the carb deck? How much do they say needs to be taken off?

I took 1 3/8 off of my indy 360-r intake. Figure I can always add a 1 inch spacer if I need it back.

I also took off the indy name.
I will be doing the same to my heads soon.
I can get a pic of the carb deck tomorro when I get to my shop

I have alote to remove 1 1/2 or so its going to be close of the runner
I can use a 3/4 inch spacer under the carbs
by milling the indy intake I need to remove alote !!!!!!!!

the orange intake is a M1 w2 intake what a diference
