I don't think I have enough vacuum for my power brakes with a bigger cam, has anyone used the electric vacuum pumps or know anything about them. Summit has them listed for around $ 300.00. Without adding a canister it looks like the way too go.

You can buy a used booster vac pump for a Euro car for $50 on ebay - VW, Audi, ... I think just the diesels. Buy, you must add a vacuum switch so it doesn't run continuously. Some owners of old M-B diesels have done so. Hydro-boost is another option, if you have power steering.
