Inside door handle question

Has anyone tried replacing the spring on the inside door handle and if so ,how hard was it. The door handle works but just doesnt have any tension on it ,

Should still work but will not spring back untill you close the door. Should not be hard to put a spring in one. Could even just get the whole assembly from some one here with the spring in it. I got a few of them from when I switched over to a lightweight inner handle setup.

I had the same issue on my '75 Scamp. I purchased a nice used handle with a good spring for $15 off ebay.

Which side do you need. If Russell isn't able to get you one I believe I have one on a door here.

Ya I got one out of a 75 Duster door that should work for you. Let me know. If not I am sure Rob will have what you need.
