Installing door end seals / door weather stripping

I've got the door weather stripping installed on my '70 Dart (wraps around door from front to back). How does it fit the rubber end seal on the back end of the door glass? Is it supposed to be tucked underneath or butted up to it?

So cut it an inch or so long?

If you look closely at the piece that affixes to the rear of the door that the seal fits under, you will notice that there is a little moulded "bulge". The seal fits under that.
