Instrument cluster help

So I finally got my instrument cluster out today, and now my car won't start. Nothing. Please tell me its something simple. I thought I could still drive the car with the cluster out. Is maybe one of the wires going to the cluster some sort of ground? I'm freaking out now

you may need to join the 2 amp gauge wires together
all power goes thru them
