Question there is a tube condenser on the back of a cluster I just bought and mine didn't have one , what is it for it a ground and could that be one of the reasons why my gauge didn't work right
the part is called noise suppression capacitor. It took the electrical noise generated by inst' voltage reg' away from radio speaker. The fact that it is missing wouldn't prevent gauges from working.
