intake gasket ?

So I bourt a Feelpro compleat gasket set for my 73 318. It has a eddy performer intake and stock heads. Now the intake gaskets in the set is 2 steel gaskets. And the ones i took of was not. Anyone ever uset the steels whit the eddy intake.?

The thin steel intake gaskets are OEM type and work OK with cast iron OEM parts.
They aren't suited for aluminum intakes. FelPro Print-A-Seal is what I use and recommend for any, aluminum or iron.
 
Eddie instructions specifically say to NOT use the steel gaskets.
 
Thanks for the repley. I was thinking that it was for stock parts. Have to by som new ones
