Intake gasket

OK never used an cast intake befor.So what do I ask for the 318 .I have always liked felpro for any aftermarket intake.So can i use felpro,or the stock metal gasket.I feel like i have step back in time going with the 318 2 barrel but 2017 will be a 360 build.Thanks.

You could use Felpro, I would want to double check regarding the port sizing though...the last Felpros I got (1213S-3, GASKET INTAKE, Steel core laminate with Printoseal, 1.16"x2.27" port, 0.065" thick) was for my 360 head ports.

Felpro sells the metal gaskets with the correct port size.

I used Felpro composite gaskets with printaseal ( same as used under aluminum manifolds ) when a 73 cast iron dual plane 2 brl 318 intake went on my 67 273. Almost 2 years now. No problems.

Ok thanks for the help.Iam going to hold off on the intake gaskets for a bit,i just decided if i can get a used aftermarket intake i will ditch the cast.

Felpro and ''right stuff'' or RTV a light coating and do not forget to put some where the gaskets meet on each end.

YA i know but how do 1 put a holley on that intake,you know me its holley or nothing.
