Intake Help (Can it be fixed)

Picked up a edelbrock performer intake. But there a problem with front corner. It looks like it has been dropped. Is there anyone here that could fix it or is this junk. Have feeling its big paper weight. If need any other pics can take some more.

a good shop should be able to tig weld it for a few bucks, wont be pretty but if they line it up rite it should work fine
 
there appears to be two cracks in it, might take abit of work but someone should be able to fix it for you
 
That's the water passage right, yea a good welder can fix it but prep, preheat, and welding time is going to eat up at least $100 and because it's the water transfer can it be trusted, I wouldn't. Sorry
 
Yeah it's by the water passage. It's right front corner of intake. Well if i can get it done for under $100 its still alot cheaper than a new intake. Figure i get some opinion from you guys. Gonna take it to a welding shop monday and see what they can do. I had them repair a thermostat housing. See will see what happens.
